How do I adjust my pillow?

  1. Open the zipper on the outer cover.
  2. Open the zipper on the inner liner.
  3. Add or remove foam and fill to your desired level.
  4. Close each zipper and fluff the pillow to redistribute the foam prior to use.
  5. If you sleep on your stomach, remove one-third of the fill.
  6. If you sleep on your side, remove one-quarter of the fill.
  7. If you sleep on your back, try the pillow as is, and adjust according to preference.

Should I wash my XOcomfort™ pillow?

We don’t recommend washing your pillow as it is very difficult to dry it afterward. If washing is necessary we recommend washing it by hand in the bathtub with cool water with a gentle detergent and no bleach. Prior to washing ensure the zipper is pinned shut with a safety pin. Squeeze as much of the extra water from the pillow as possible and drip dry or place in a sunny location to dry.

The removable cover should be washed in cold water using the delicate cycle. Please do not use fabric softener or bleach. Dry the removable cover on low and make sure it is completely dry before use.

How do I use my warranty?

We offer a 5-year limited warranty for our pillows and pillow protectors. To make a warranty claim, email us at help@xocomfort.com and provide us with your order number.

You can also call (801) 709-0659 and someone will respond to your message within 24 hours.

If you’re giving an XOcomfort™ thermal pillow as a gift, please provide the order number you received in your confirmation email. We cannot verify an order or implement a warranty without this. Warranties only apply to products that are purchased directly from XOcomfort™ authorized sellers.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers material damage to the pillow(s)/protector(s)/ pad(s) incurred under correct use or manufacturer defect. XOcomfort™ is not liable for claims that exceed the cost of the product. The warranty does not cover any damage to your pillow due to improper care. XOcomfort™ is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damage from the use of its products. The warranty does not apply in cases of misuse or abuse of the products. Improper installation or failure to follow washing instructions will void the warranty. The pillow covers may become discolored over time, but that does not compromise the quality of the pillow and is not covered by the warranty. Any warranty claims outside of the 50 United States are responsible for shipping.

Do you have a store where I can test out the XOcomfort™ pillow?

XOcomfort™ cooling pillows are currently only available online. The best way to test out a pillow is in your own home, which is why we offer a 60-night trial period. During this two month trial, you should spend some time adjusting your pillow to your preference. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your pillow during your trial period, let us know and we will issue you a full refund.

How do I get rid of the XOcomfort™ thermal foam smell?

New thermal foam tends to have a slight scent as a result of the production process. This scent can be easily reduced by putting the whole pillow in the dryer on low heat for an hour or two with a dryer sheet. You can also let the pillow air out for a day or two in direct sunlight. Multiple washes may be needed to reduce the scent to your preference.

Our foam is CertiPUR-US® certified so it has low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for
indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million). It is also made without ozone depleters. 

Should I use another pillow case on top of the outer cover?

This is up to you. If you do, it may block some of the thermal foam’s cooling properties. If you wish to use a different pillowcase, refer to the dimensions in the next question.

What are the dimensions of the XOcomfort™ cooling pillows?

Queen: 20 inches x 28 inches

King: 20 inches x 36 inches

The depth of all our pillows is about six inches, but you can easily adjust this to meet your preference by removing or adding fill. If more fill is needed please contact us by phone (801) 709-0659 or email help@xocomfort.com.

Do Xocomfort™ pillows contain PBDE’s (polybrominated diphenyl ethers)?

No. XOcomfort foam is CertiPUR-US® certified and made without PBDEs (polybrominated diphenyl ethers), TDCPP, or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants. Our foam meets CertiPUR-US® standards for content, emissions and durability, and has been analyzed by independent, accredited testing laboratories

What are the XOcomfort™ cooling pillows made of?

XOcomfort™ cooling pillows are made from premium quality visco-elastic memory foam with a patent-pending thermal fiber filler.

Why does my pillow seem firmer than normal?

XOcomfort™ foam is temperature sensitive, so the pillow may start to become firm at temperatures below 65° F. If exposed to temperatures below 50° F, the pillow will feel solid. In order to restore your pillow to its original state, place the pillow in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes.
